Capture Your Thoughts processes all voice transcription locally on your machine using the Whisper AI model. Your voice recordings never leave your device and are not transmitted to any external servers.

• No audio data is uploaded to the cloud
• Transcriptions remain on your local machine
• No internet connection is required for the core transcription functionality

Capture Your Thoughts does not collect any user data.
We do not:

• Store your voice recordings
• Track your usage patterns
• Collect personal information
• Maintain user accounts or profiles
• Keep logs of your activity
• The only data stored on your device are your personal settings and preferences, which remain exclusively on your local machine and are never transmitted to us.

System Permissions

Capture Your Thoughts requires microphone access to function. This permission is used exclusively for capturing your voice for local transcription purposes. Additionally, the app needs to download the model once to transcribe your audio. Once downloaded it is used for future use.

These permissions are used solely for the functionality of the app and not for data collection.

Updates

When checking for updates, Capture Your Thoughts will connect to Apple's servers to verify if a new version is available. This process does not involve the transmission of any personal data beyond what is technically required. This is completely managed by Apple
